Luke Halls was invited to collaborate with Finn Ross on the visual content for Complicite’s new production of Mikhail Bulgakov’s 1930’s masterpiece. Several key sequences required complex 3d animation which Luke directed. These scenes were developed during rehearsals and well in to the tour, culminating in the London opening at the Barbican centre in March 2012. The production has continued to tour Europe, and will be headlining the festival d’Avignon in July. The Master and Margarita, The Barbican – The Guardian Review
