Take Me Home
Info and credits
For Come Home Again and Take Me Home, Luke Halls Studio collaborated with artist Es Devlin on an immersive installation presented at Shenzhen Bay Culture Square. Responding to the migratory bird flyway that passes over Shenzhen Bay, the work reflects on movement, belonging and the invisible routes that connect continents. Es Devlin’s hand-drawn sketches — gathered across decades of artistic practice — form the foundation of the installation, creating a vast visual archive that surrounds the viewer. At the centre of the exhibition, a hemispherical projection space becomes an immersive dome for a film tracing the flight paths of migratory birds. Animated like a living sketch and accompanied by an original score by Polyphonia, our work transforms the gallery into a contemplative environment where drawing, music and motion converge — inviting reflection on migration, shared ecosystems and the idea of home as something continually in motion.
