Luke Halls Studio was invited as video designers for V&A’s “Hallyu! The Korean Wave” exhibition in 2022.
The exhibit explores the makings of the Korean Wave through cinema, drama, music and fandoms, and underlines its cultural impact on the beauty and fashion industries. The exhibition features around 200 objects alongside pop culture ephemera and digital displays across four thematic sections.
We designed and produced three video installations for the exhibition, they showcase the huge impact and massive universe of K-pop, K-fashion and the unique global sweep of Psy’s Gangnam Style that spread across the globe.
