The Poem Pavilion Expo 2020
The Poem Pavilion, conceived by Es Devlin, is the first UK pavilion at the World Expo designed by a woman since the event’s inception in 1851. The huge timber conical structure invites visitors to contribute their word to a collective poem that is composed by artificial intelligence. After collecting the submitted words the pavilion creates a poem from them all, which is displayed, illuminated, on the building’s twenty-meter high facade and in the interior of the building.
